Cart reminders
Remind customers who left products in the cart — in the Messenger and by email, with an optional discount code.
When a customer leaves products in the cart, Shopxare can remind them in the Messenger or by email, with a button that brings them back to the cart.
Set it up
- Connect your store and switch on Cart reminders for it.
- Under Cart reminders on the same page, choose:
- Remind after — for example 1 hour.
- Discount code (optional) — create it in your shop first; it is shown in the reminder.
- Message — leave it empty for our default text in the customer's language.
- Messenger — a message with the cart, seen on their next visit.
- Email — when we know their email, with an opt-out link.
- Second reminder — 24 hours later, if they did not come back.
- Save.
Carts come from your shop where the platform supports it, and from Shopxare('cart', …) on your site for all others — see the JavaScript API.
Results
The page shows Carts (30 days), how many were Reminded, how many Came back and how many Bought. Recent carts lists each cart with its total and status: Waiting, Reminded, Bought, Bought after reminder or Emptied.
Customers who click Don't send cart reminders in the email are never reminded again by your shop. Cart reminders depend on your package.
