Copyright Policy
Version 2.1 · effective October 15, 2024
Shopxare, LLC respects intellectual property rights and expects its customers to do the same. This policy explains how we handle claims under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and similar laws, such as the notice-and-action rules of the EU Digital Services Act.
Most content on Shopxare — help centers, Messenger messages, files — is published by our customers, not by us. Where possible, please contact the customer who published the content first.
1. Sending a notice
Use the copyright notice form or send a written notice to our designated agent (section 4). The notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature (or that of a person authorised to act for the owner);
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- the exact location of the material you claim infringes (for example the URL of a help-center article or file);
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.
2. What we do
When we receive a complete notice, we will remove or disable access to the material, notify the customer responsible, and give them a copy of the notice (with your contact details, unless you ask us to redact them where the law allows).
3. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which Shopxare may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We will forward the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.

We will close, in appropriate circumstances, the Workspaces of customers who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
