Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate is meticulous, analytical, and passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences by identifying bugs and inconsistencies before they reach our customers.

As a QA Engineer at Shopxare, you will play a vital role in the software development lifecycle, working closely with developers, designers, and product managers to uphold and improve the quality of our web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

• Execute manual and automated tests across multiple platforms (web, mobile)

• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira)

• Perform regression, integration, smoke, and performance testing

• Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve application quality

• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and CI pipelines

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and actively contribute to the QA process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance

• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, or similar)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Postman, and debugging tools

• Experience working with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
